November - Little Pasos Update
Gearing Up for 2026!
We are ecstatic as we prepare for our 2026 school year! This month, we kicked off our readiness course to evaluate and connect with the ten new kindergarteners joining the Little Pasos family next year.
Each child represents a story God is writing — and we’re so grateful to play a small role in helping them discover their gifts and grow in faith, confidence, and love.
Funding FIRSTS!
While our Guatemalan team is busy preparing the “soil” for the year ahead, our director Tara Goodloe Fuentes is currently in the U.S., tossing out the nets for more prayer and financial partners!
Our goal is to raise and pledge $30,000 by the end of 2025 to prepare for our next phase of growth.
Your partnership helps make this possible!
Sponsor a student — $35/month
Give a one-time gift — any amount helps!
Join the general fund — $100 or more
Each gift fuels the mission of Little Pasos: equipping young minds with Jesus and English—tools that empower them to dream, grow, and build brighter futures in Villa Nueva, Guatemala.
May the Holy Spirit continue stirring hearts and drawing this community closer to Jesus! Amen.
Campaign Update
We’re thrilled to share that through our Funding FIRSTS campaign, we’ve already received $13,500 toward our $30,000 goal!
We’re officially halfway there!
Would you help us cross the finish line? Every prayer, every dollar, and every share of our story makes a difference.
Bear Creek Community Partners Visit
Last month, we were honored to host a vision team from our church partner, Bear Creek Community! Their visit was a time of collaboration, prayer, and dreaming about their upcoming mission trip planned for June 2026.
We also invited several moms to share their ideas about community needs and how we can continue supporting local families. Their gratitude for Little Pasos deeply encouraged us—reminding us that the Gospel truly bears fruit in transformed lives.
At Little Pasos, our mission isn’t to seek praise but to plant seeds. Our prayer is that each child would grow with a foundation of faith and knowledge—that they would know Jesus personally and use their education to bless others.
As Jesus said, we know a tree by the fruit it produces. By God’s grace, we are seeing good fruit, and we’re committed to continue nurturing it—one student, one grade, and one heart at a time.
Prayer Requests
Please join us in praying for:
Continued provision for Funding FIRSTS
Deepened relationships with Jesus among our students and families
The readiness course for incoming kindergarteners
Full funding for our missionaries Sydney and Sarah
Protection over our students and families during their vacation break
Grace, wisdom, and boldness for our staff as they share the Gospel through their words and actions
With Gratitude
Thank you to everyone who continues to pray, give, and cheer us on. God’s love for these families is reflected through your partnership and generosity.
Please continue to pray about supporting Little Pasos so that we can joyfully open our 1st grade class next year—and keep equipping the next generation with Jesus-centered education.
God bless you abundantly,
