For fifty years, New Life Children's Home has been a place where broken stories find healing and forgotten children find family. What began as a single act of faith has grown into a legacy of rescue, restoration, and hope for hundreds of children in Guatemala. This September we invite you to be part of something truly special: a trip to Guatemala to celebrate five decades of God's faithfulness alongside the children, staff, and missionaries who call New Life home. Whether you have walked this journey with us for years or are just discovering this ministry, this is a chance to see firsthand the lives being transformed and to be part of writing the next fifty years of New Life's story.

A Weekend to Remember

  • Your adventure begins the moment you land in Guatemala City. Pre-arranged transportation will be waiting to take you directly from the airport to Tikal Futura Hotel and Convention Center, your home base for the celebration week. Take time to settle in, rest from your travels, and connect with fellow guests as the excitement builds for the days ahead.

  • At 3:00 PM the group departs for New Life Children's Home for an afternoon and evening you will never forget. Walk the grounds of NLCH and take in the place where hundreds of children have found safety, healing, and a family. A warm reception will welcome you before the evening culminates in a formal banquet featuring a two hour program dedicated to celebrating fifty years of God's faithfulness at New Life. The group returns to the hotel that evening with hearts full and spirits high.

  • The day begins at 8:30 AM with an English worship service in beautiful Antigua Guatemala, a wonderful opportunity to gather together in faith. Following the service the group will enjoy brunch at Casa Santo Domingo, a stunning five star hotel and restaurant built within the walls of a centuries old monastery. The afternoon includes a tour of a local coffee farm, exploration of one of Antigua's historic Catholic ruins, and time at the tourist market to browse handcrafted souvenirs and take in the cobblestone streets and breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanoes. The group returns to the hotel late afternoon, carrying with them a day full of worship, culture, and sweet fellowship.

  • At 10:00 AM the group joins the New Life community for a special school assembly honoring 35 years of providing a quality Christ-centered education to the children of Villa Nueva. The assembly features energetic worship and an inspiring program prepared by the student body of 740 students. Following the assembly the group enjoys lunch at NLCH with the children before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon, carrying with them the joy of a community that has been transformed by education and faith.

  • All good things must come to an end, but the memories made this week will last a lifetime. Enjoy a final breakfast at Tikal Futura Hotel before heading to the airport for your journey home. As you travel back, carry with you the faces of the children, the stories of the missionaries, and the unmistakable evidence of what God has done over fifty years at New Life. We are so grateful you joined us for this celebration.
