Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Todds!!
Here is Alison and Ivana, the precious baby girl we have been praying for who was extremely ill for several weeks!! She is doing well now, just needs to put some weight back on, thanks to all who prayed for her and her mom. We lead a couple’s team in December to help get the home decorated for Christmas and bake lots of cookies. The guys did a deep clean of the shops and lots of little work projects as well.
We made some Christmas goody bags for the kids that we gave out the night we cooked Texas burritos for them for dinner, Michael was the Grinch standing at the door ready to take the bags back, the kids got a kick out of that! One of the COTR fellas gave a testimony and the kids responded well to it. Connecting with the kids there at New Life Children’s Home is a big part of our mission as well as just loving on them. It was a great week. Only one hiccup that week, I got E.coli bacteria and ended up in the hospital for a couple of nights in Guatemala, quite an experience for me. Thankfully Wendy had it all under control and all went well! I’m doing great now and looking forward to Christmas festivities!!There’s no place like home!!
Tommy made 3 large shell units for 2 of our older girls and one for the social worker for NLCH. They turned out great!! We want to thank all of you who sponsor kids, us or NLCH!! This is a great mission worthy of your giving. If you’re not part of it yet, please consider supporting a child, a missionary or NLCH general fund. Go to www.nlai.org to set it up, so easy!! You can call Maggie at 832-242-7750 if you have any questions!! Thanks for your continued prayers for all who serve at NLCH and for all our kids there!!
We had a fun Texas Tech football party for the Championship game at the Wheeler house and the Kennedy house, we loved the outcome of the game! Raider – Power !! could be heard all over the home side, so fun!!
We want to wish you all a blessed Christmas season and a Prosperous New Year! Many thanks for your prayers and support!
In Service to Him, Tommy & Marilyn
