Grace in Guate / June 2025
The past month or so has provided time for reflection. We had our yearly retreat and God used several different situations to speak into my current ministry. As in any role, it’s important to reflect and figure out what’s going well and what may need to change or improve. I don’t have all the answers and probably never will, but I’m thankful to be more aware of potential change and ways to improve. I’m praying for clarity, the correct posture and good collaboration.
Shaken
In the past 2 days, Guatemala has been affected by more than 150 earthquakes. The first few were the most significant and other plate movement, rockslides and aftershocks have followed. Thankfully, we have very limited damage and are all safe. However, there are multiple communities suffering from more severe affects.
I love being married to my favorite person.
God is so good.
Learning never stops
I often talk about surrounding topics and sometimes don’t remember to include my main job: TEACHING!!! I finally feel like I am not a first year teacher. It’s nice to pull resources from prior years and not laminate every other day. However, I also get bored with the same old things so I’m always trying to find new ways to learn!
