As an intern at the Texas Tech Wesley Foundation Kim led a group of college students to New Life Children’s Home in 1990 and experienced the transforming love and work of Jesus in the lives of the staff and children of NLCH. Since that time Kim has returned to NLCH four additional times, one of which was to lead the first team from La Croix Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where Kim is the Discipleship and Missions Pastor.

There have been many changes to the campus of NLCH over the past 36 years but the way lives are transformed hasn’t changed! The Holy Spirit is still at work through the Christ-centered, compassionate care children receive at NLCH. Kim has previously served on the NLAI board from 2011-2017 (might need to check those years) and is honored to be able to serve in this capacity again. Kim has been married to Tom for 31 years and he and both of their children, Danny (28) and Matthew (26) have served joyfully at NLCH several times.
