John Foster

John Foster brings a wealth of leadership experience from both the business and ministry worlds. He retired in 2022 from his role as an executive with Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation, capping a successful career as a financial executive. In addition to his business background, John was ordained in 1990 and served in vocational ministry for a decade—both as a staff pastor and lead pastor—providing him with a deep understanding of church leadership and spiritual formation. John and his wife, Joyce, share a heart for ministry and currently serve as volunteer staff at Mosaic Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. Together, they lead staff development and adult ministries, which include teaching, preaching, and intercessory prayer. John also actively consults with two mission organizations and teaches in a school of ministry, further extending his influence in the global mission community. A longtime friend of NLAI, John previously served on the Board of Directors and rejoined in 2025. He and Joyce now reside in Lufkin, Texas, after spending most of their lives in the Houston area, where they continue to enjoy frequent visits with their children and grandchildren.
